Here's how easy it is to write with HollyWord:

First HollyWord sets you up to type your "Slugline" — the brief description of where the action takes place; it must be in ALL CAPS, and HollyWord sets that automatically for you. You type:

INT. RICK'S CAFE — MAIN ROOM — NIGHT

When you finish typing the Slugline, HollyWord sets you to type the "Action" — details of what's taking place on screen (automatically changing the formatting so you're no longer in ALL CAPS:

Rick walks briskly up to the piano.

HollyWord now knows you're ready to write the name of the Character who speaks next; the program automatically changes the margin settings and puts you back into ALL CAPS. If you have set up the Character Name shortcut, all you type now is the letter "R" and HollyWord enters the name for you.
